Coached Programs
Our programs cater to adults at all experience levels, from novice rowers in Learn to Row to experienced Masters athletes who compete at local and national regattas.
General Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong knowledge of boating safety

Knowledge of rowing mechanics, fundamentals, and techniques

USRA Coaching Level 1 certification & requirements (must obtain within 1 month of hire), which include*:

CPR/First Aid Certified

WA State Boater's License
-
SafeSport training
-
Background Check

*Level 1 Certification required to start coaching, not at time of application. LWRC will reimburse cost of certification, CPR training, and background check.
Compensation
We offer a general pay range from $27.50 to $40/hour, depending on experience. All coaches are eligible for a complimentary gym membership or a discounted full rowing membership, benefits are tailored to individual roles.
