All of our learn to row classes are open to people with little or no rowing experience. Our small class sizes allow the coaches to focus on the needs of each individual rower and help them learn at their own pace.

Lake Washington offers Learn to Row classes in the spring, summer, and fall. Check back at the end of the year for an updated schedule of next year's Learn to Row classes.

Spring Learn to Row is CANCELLED

While the COVID-19 crisis continues, all LTR and Masters programs have been cancelled.  When the boathouse re-opens, LTR program will start with the next season beginning.

Summer Learn to Row - Race Camp

LWRC is excited to bring back a race camp for new rowers. This program is an 8-week training regimen with an opportunity to race at the Green Lake Regatta in early August! Program is open to those who have never rowed before, interested in learning to sweep row, and race in 8-person boats. First couple of weeks will cover the basics of rowing and boat handling. Next few weeks will pick up the pace and get the team ready to race!

Program is 3 times a week and is limited to 18 participants. This is a great chance for those that have previously taken a LTR Sweep, Sculling, or Express class and have always wanted to have the chance to race in sweep boats. Grab a group of friends and race at a local regatta!
