LEARN TO
ROW LESSONS
All of our learn to row classes are open to adults with little or no rowing experience. We teach new rowers to scull in stable, single boats so they can more quickly understand the mechanics of rowing - gaining flexibility and independence for their future endeavors in the sport!
Lake Washington offers Learn to Row Sculling in the spring, summer, and sometimes early fall. Our curated, small classes allow the coaches to focus on the needs of each individual rower. We also offer private lessons to those who wish to fast-track their learning or need more flexibility in scheduling.

Learn to Row Sculling
Learn to Row 1 Sculling Classes are beginning!
Learn to Row Sculling 1 classes are 2-3 weeks in duration. The series is 6 sessions, with up to 4 students for $240. Participants will learn the basics of rowing in individual boats.
We also offer a Learn to Row Sculling 2 program that gives 6 sessions of next-level single sculling instruction for $240. This program is for graduates of LTR1 and individuals with some rowing experience who want to learn to row a single.

If you have not already created an account in Mindbody for LWRC, set that up that now.
-
For on-water instruction, you will need to pass a float test which can be performed at a local pool. If you have a scuba or lifeguard certification you can upload a copy of that in lieu of a float test.
-
You will also need to sign and upload a LWRC waiver.
-
The documents section of Mindbody is where the forms should go when complete.

Please email the office to let us know you're done with this important step!
Private Lessons
Sign up for a private lesson. Private lessons for non-members are sold in packages of 3 lessons. The package costs $300. Please contact the LWRC office for availability before signing up. Private lessons are in high demand and we may not be able to schedule you immediately. Please include your rowing experience (if any), swimming ability and athletic background.
Once you have the okay from the office, select the Private Coaching button and purchase a private lesson package. A coach will contact you to set up a time for your lesson.
