FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Lake Washington Rowing Club launched the Financial Assistance Support Team (FAST) to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent members from continuing to row.

Members may apply for financial assistance to receive up to a 50% reduction on a 1-year membership with LWRC. Members may reapply annually for assistance as needed.

If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please answer the following questions and email your answers to fast@lakewashingtonrowing.com. You can also download a copy of these questions here

  1. What is your name?

  2. How long have you been a member of LWRC?

  3. What club activities do you participate in, and approximately how many hours per week do you participate in them? Please include rowing, classes, volunteering, regattas, etc.

  4. Each member is expected to complete 10 hours of volunteer service for the club. Can you commit to fulfilling this requirement, and do you have any particular areas of interest for volunteering at LWRC?

  5. Our financial assistance program awards up to 50% of your membership dues for up to one year, with the option to re-apply after that. What level of assistance are you requesting, and for how long?

  6. Please provide any additional information you think would be helpful in making the decision to award assistance.
