JP Kirkegaard

Jonathan "JP" Kirkegaard is a former U.S. National Team athlete and accomplished coach with more than 15 years of experience in competitive rowing. After competing for Purdue University and racing at the IRA National Championships, JP coached Purdue's novice men's program to multiple ACRA gold medals before pursuing elite-level competition. From 2014 to 2022, he trained for the U.S. National Team, representing the United States internationally in 2017, 2018, 2021, and 2022. In 2021, JP won the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the Men's Double Sculls and went on to compete at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta.
