Pyramids

Start this workout with some drills and continuing to work on steering and communication. It’s important to be clear and precise when communicating. Simple and short is best:


  • “Single” (gets attention)

  • “Heads up” (something in your way)

  • “Passing on your port side” (information concerning your course) or

  • “move to starboard (or port)”

Pyramid Workout

4-5 X (10-15-20-25-20-15-10 stroke pyramid with equal rest between).

Start out with low rates and vary the rate throughout the workout.
