Lake Washington Rowing Club Competitive Team

How our team works @ LWRC:

Our Competitive Master's Team is a diverse, member-driven group of experienced rowers that trains hard together 3x/week in the early mornings through most of the year. As adults, schedules and lives often require flexibility, so unlike a typical school-aged team, our model allows for shifting commitments. We center training and coaching sessions around key regattas, enabling rowers and coaches to come and go for different seasons. Membership to the club is annual, but there is also opportunity to row independently or in other programs as you desire.

Coaching

Our coaches are passionate about helping rowers improve their stroke efficiency and develop their skills. They are also avid rowers and very friendly. Learn from the best.

Options!

We love our small boats and emphasis learning to scull in singles. This allows members to scull on their own schedules once a level of competency is reached. Many of our comp team members mix-and-match their rowing experiences here!

Boathouse

A vast boathouse in the heart of Fremont, with an abundance of rowing opportunities, a full gym, access to all that Lake Union has to offer, and a wonderful community make Lake Washington unique.

History

Lake Washington is ONE OF ? the oldest rowing club in Seattle with a mission to teach the art of rowing to the local community and spread the joy that comes with this beautiful sport.
