The Summer 2021 Issue of Making Waves, the LWRC Quarterly, is available for viewing online. This issue includes a feature article on seaplane operation on Lake Union by regular contributor Tom Kreyche. It is a continuation of an article Tom wrote for the Spring 2021 edition about the common roots of seaplanes and rowing shells in the Seattle area.
Included in this issue is a reminiscence of Nero, the UW rowing barge, and the search for Nero. Additionally, there are articles on members, coaches, local races, and member experiences. The issue is packed with great photos and news from the LWRC board. Thanks Editor Roberta Scholz and Designer Suze Woolf for a special edition of Making Waves.
